Only a few billion people are invited. A moratorium is “a suspension of an ongoing activity.” Zero Emissions Day is a gentle moratorium, participation is voluntary and encouraged because everyone can see that it would be a good idea, for today and for our future on this planet.

Zero Emissions Day is one thing people the world over can do together simultaneously that will be of benefit to the whole world.
